Banana Zorro is one of Tanzania's most popular musicians. The son of legendary singer Ally Zorro, he recorded with his father and produced two tracks called Anakudanganya and Big Boss. On the back of these singles, he joined the group BloveM (Banana loves Masiga). In 2002, he released his debut album, Banana. His second album Subra came out in 2006. Banana is a flexible artist, doing rumba (muziki wa dansi), bongo flava as well as performing live with InAfrika Band. He has also formed the Sayari Unit (Kiswahili for planet) with Bushoke and Soul n Faith. Banana's famous hits include Nimekuchagua Wewe, Mama Yangu, Hao Hao, Nataka Niwe Nawe, Sinyorita, Safari, Ninakuona, Mapenzi ya Simu, Jua Linazama, Wangu Maria, Mama Kumbena, Zoba and many more...
