Please note there is no restriction on hand-held photography,
video or audio recordings.

Please note, our budget is very limited and we are unable to meet
travel and subsistence expenses for international media.

For access to the photographers' pit (immediately in front of
the stage), press meetings, press facilities, interviews
with artists, movers & shakers you will require a Festival
Press Pass.

Operations involving a tripod, microphone-stand, extra lighting,
or more than one person are only allowed with a Festival
AV Recording Permit.

Festival Press Passes

You must apply for a press pass in advance

Please write and tell us your ideas for coverage and your certainty
of getting placement (a letter from your editor is ideal)

Please tell us how you will ensure we receive an archive copy
of your published material

Press passes are priced the same as Festival passes

Please apply well in advance describing the nature of your project

Permits for 2010 are priced from US$250-1000 according to how commercial
is your intended purpose.

Required for operations involving a tripod, microphone-stand,
extra lighting, or more than one person

Sorry, but we cannot allow line-out access from the mixing desk
under any circumstances unless a contract involving the artists concerned has been prepared
and agreed in advance.
